Online Classes

We are currently offering online, 30-minute classes via Zoom. All of these classes will be in the format of our Yoga for Every Body class. A few other things about the online class:

  • There are no special props, clothes, or supplies needed to take these online classes.
  • If you have a mat, use it, if you don’t have a mat, the classes can be done wherever you can find space to move a bit.
  • We encourage you to practice on a chair if it’s difficult for you to get up and down off of the floor.
  • In the online class, you can set your computer to see the instructor, we ask that you do this.
  • It is your choice to allow yourself to be seen on video although we prefer that you do so that we can make sure that you are safe and make suggestions as we teach the classes.
  • The classes that we are offering for specific groups are on the honor system. We are not checking to see whether you are a veteran, education professional, or senior. However we hope that you respect the groups for whom the class is intended. We will offer something for everyone.
  • If you have never used Zoom, we have put together some links to help you do so HERE.

Below, find the classes that we can offer in any location or online. Currently, these classes are not regularly scheduled but we can arrange for private classes or lessons.

If you’re not sure where to start – let us know and we’d be happy to help!

Basics

This class is designed for yoga students to learn commonly used postures, to try them, and to ask questions.  Asanas (postures) commonly used in yoga will be introduced allowing students to try poses and make adjustments based on individual needs. The class will have some introduction of vinyasa – movement of postures with breath.  During the class, students have the opportunity to ask teachers specific questions as they learn.
